How do I increase traffic to my YouTube channel and videos?
I have been a member of YouTube for the past 7 months, I see people who have 10,000 hits in a month, when I have been struggling to hit 1,000. I have awesome videos that I want to share with everyone. I have tried that tags, as well as the wording my title several different ways, and still nothing? Use more common words with your tags that people might search for, and make sure that the picture for your video is something appealing. Of course, make more intersting videos that people will want to send to eachother, or search for.
I have a video of my chinchilla taking a dustbath that is up to 18,000 hits because I used common words for the tags. I originally made it just to send to my friend because she didnt know what it looked like when a chinchilla took a dustbath.

I have a website thats a little over a month old. At first the traffic was steadily increasing. Now I’m hardly getting any hits at all. When you think of it that way, it’s obvious that there’s going to be lag time between your link-building activities and the accompanying increase in traffic.
