Anyone know about website traffic rankings?
Hi,I was recently reading an article about website traffic rankings but i didnt really get it,does it mean if your traffic ranking for a website is a lower number such as 5 it has more people coming to it but if your site is ranked at 1,000,000 it doesnt have as many people coming to a website???? very confusing,pleaze help!

Actually you got it upwards down 
, the more users visit your website (or the traffic) the more higher traffic ranking your website has and vice-versa.

Buying traffic obviously improve your website visitors. But it usually a less important factor in determining search engine rankings. Search engine ranking is greatly influenced by your links to your website from websites that have better traffic than yours. Also interlinking your web pages with each other is better. Its a better to use a content manage system or publishing system like drupal or wordpress. They have better seo. Buying traffic from google adwords is a costlier affair but quite targeted. It helps only if your website is highly commercial. You can also buy seo software like ibp for better seo service. But remember one thing never never buy in website which claims to give “10000 visitors for $10″ or ” buy cheap traffic” or similar things or any ebook that ll teach you how to generate traffic. They r all spam and will simply rob you. ” Internet is either a very hard working place or a very very costly place”
